I was tired of having to breadboard a MIDI input circuit every time I wanted to prototype something, so I made these handy little breadboard breakouts! They fit nicely on a standard sized breadboard and all 3 pins are broken out 4 times for ultimate flexibility.
On board is a TLP2366 optoisolator and other necessary input components. The jack is a 3.5mm TRS wired to be compatible with the official MIDI TRS standard (type A). Pick up one of our MIDI TRS adapter cables for ultimate ease of use!
